grinding very thin parts

  • General | Help with grinding 440C

Anyone have any ideas on a good way to grind some thin 440C Stainless Steel? The parts are .125" thick by .500" wide by about 4.500" long. They are already heat treated and tempered. The problem I'm having is they don't hold down on the magnetic chuck very well, and so I put them in precision grinding vise.
